Ways to get involved
One of the most important elements of the study will be continually soliciting input from the public along the way. Alternatives will be evaluated and presented to project stakeholders and the public to gain input as part of the ultimate determination of the preferred alternative. The overarching goal of the project team is to arrive at a reroute alternative that best support the goals of the project, account for project costs and constructability and avoid, minimize, or mitigate environmental impacts. Your input plays an integral role in the project. There will be several opportunities throughout the process to offer your input on of the project and you can request a meeting or presentation to your group by submitting the request through the Contact Us page.

Public Open House
The first South Shore Line Airport Realignment Project public open house was held on Wednesday, April 5, 2023. The next public meeting is TBD but will be announced to the public.
